Asus U80V-Sexy Black Lappy

Asus have a sexy piano black 14″ laptop that can play games good.  It is a stylish laptop.  Some are referring to this model as the pc equivalent of the Macbook,    haha, take that mac fanbois.  It has a backlit keyboard, multi-touch touch-pad that lights up your finger when moving.  There are sensors that allow you to adjust the brightness of the screen, cool.

The 14″ screen is glossy, (aren’t they all) has a 1366×768 resolution.

Tap, Tap, Move, Tap

The touch pad is super cool. If you drag two fingers up, down left or right, you can scroll the screen. Pinching your fingers zooms in and out and holding down one finger and moving the other rotates images.  Now if you tap with 3 fingers, it acts as a right mouse button, while tapping with two produces a middle click. Swipe with 3 fingers down fast opens task manager, tapping three fingers then double tap with the third opens the magnifier and swipe left or right will allow you go up or down.    But if you tap with one finger, then swipe with 2, double tap with 3, then spin around with your hands on your hips, you can get the microwave to warm you up some popcorn. (That last one isn’t true)

How’s The Grunt?

This little baby has an Intel Core 2 Duo, T9400 2.53 ghz cpu, (NICE) 2gb RAM, 500 gig hard drive and ati radeon 4570 using windows vista home premium.  It won’t set the world on fire, but if you want to have some gaming on the go, this might be a nice thing.  It is undoubtedly one of the best 14″ laptops for gaming on the market today.

PROS: Sexy sleek, piano black, cool touch-pad

CONS: Might chug a little if you want to spec out your games.
