Showing the peformance of the fairly cheap laptop 5820tg from Acer which cost about 850 euros. The specs are Radeon 5650 1gb gpu, Intel Core i5 450M processor, 4gb DDR3 ram. Recorded with my iphone held between my knees to be able to play, blocking the microphone so the sound is very low.

@skaterluis14 it probably works, but personally I mainly game on stationary computers. its just so much better than on a laptop.. wouldnt buy a laptop if its just for gaming.
Do you think it is a nice laptop to play fps games like crossfire?
@skaterluis14 believe it was medium settings i used when recording this.
Which graphic settings u put in bad company, low ,medium or high?
SHCEAP LAPTOP… YAAAA
@dommeoen oh lol, it obviously meant that the laptop is a mammal with curcly hair on that note. ^^
@GraffzNord that wasn’t for you, the mate under me was asking what does mean scheep laptop. ^^
@Kefir96 Considering the hardware.
@dommeoen cheap?
@uikonaful for gaming, i dunno, it gets hot.. but for general use, its nice. quiet and lightweight.
My brother has one, and im thinking of buying it. Would you recomend it for a guy that uses internet, almosts all the time? btw, im Norwegian and love sweden:)
why does he say scheep laptop?
@GraffzNord That explains it. Wow sessions
You should buy cooling pad, yes
@NoFearLamro Mmh well, my gpu was around 78c when i checked it after some gaming, but didnt monitor the temp with the lid down.. think it might have had something to do with it overheating, and serious marathon sessions of wow
Still have warranty tough so its np, will prob buy a cooling pad if im to do any more long sessions on it =)

@GraffzNord Thank you. Definitely not buying it now
) Feel bad for yours! You know my brother have Acer 5742 (If I remember right) with i3, ATI 5470 and 3GB ram. I have played BC2 on it, but only on low settings. Played for hours, it does not get warm that much, only slightly . Isn’t that wierd. Even though if it is played on low it still does not get warm..
@NoFearLamro Yes, it can get quite hot, standard ATI :< Actually managed to damage the gpu this winter (probably from overheat), lid closed / external monitor.. so yeah.
Does it get hot while gaming? Anyone who have this, share your experience
Holy shit i didnt exept it could run bad company 2 and crysis! IM BUYIN’ IT!
Thanks for answer! What do you thing would it run games like gta iv crysis and mafia 2 with i5 480m and ati hd 5650. And 4 gb of ram of course.
@alluuuuu1 games like bad company, starcraft 2 and wow is definitely playable.. but personally id always prefer a stationary over a laptop if its exclusively for gaming.. but i havent had any problems gaming on the laptop when im away from home.
Is this laptop good for gaming
@skummel37 Nope, if I set the gpu settings on high quality and set the COD4 settings on quality too it would run just fine with no lag but I would notice it is its right limit. Bring the gpu settings a notch down to just plain quality (not high) and there is nothing to notice.
Anyone having troubles running COD4?
